The Turtle Lake Area Garden Club and the Turtle Lake Public Library are excited to announce a new joint program: The Seed Exchange Library! We invite seasoned and budding gardener alike to check out our Seed Exchange Library for free seeds.
Seed packets, either commercially packaged or harvested from the garden, will be available at our Seed Exchange Library. The Seed Exchange Library is located by the water fountains in the Turtle Lake Public Library. Please take no more than 3 packets per visit per day and only take one packet per seed variety. Choose what you can use!
We welcome any seed donations, either commercially packaged seeds or seeds from your garden, if they are clean, dry, and in a labeled container. Please donate your seed packets at the Turtle Lake Public Library with a completed donation form that describes the seed type and planting instructions. The seed packets will be sorted and prepared for sharing by the Garden Club members or library staff.
If you have any questions, please ask a library staff member for more information. If you have any questions about the Garden Club or the Seed Exchange Library, please contact Garden Club representative Sam Lindquist at 612-875-5035 (a text is preferred).
We look forward to growing with you!
